We will consider the following when undertaking formative pruning :
-
Removal of deadwood.
-
Removal of split / crossing branches.
-
Thinning out the crown for improved light.
-
Selective pruning to improve or restore a view.
-
Selective thinning of heavy limbs to reduce the risk of failure.
-
Pruning to improve the overall shape of a tree.
Topping of trees is not recognised as professional pruning practice and should be avoided due to adverse effects on the health of the tree.
Waste branches are easily disposed of by our chipper and turned into mulch. The mulch is either left for the customer or removed from site.
